02 / Ongoing care

Keep running your business. I’ll look after the website.

A website does not stop needing attention when it launches. Optional ongoing care gives you a direct person to speak to about hosting, maintenance and agreed updates to your content.

Three different jobs. One clear agreement.

Hosting keeps the website available. Maintenance addresses relevant technical updates. Content changes keep what customers read aligned with your business. These are related jobs, but they are not interchangeable.

  • Hosting: the infrastructure serving your website, as set out in your agreement.
  • Maintenance: relevant technical updates and attention to the website’s operation.
  • Content changes: agreed edits to text, images or business information.

Ask for a change without learning the tools.

If a service description needs updating or a photograph is out of date, you can explain the change directly to me. The agreement sets out which changes are included and how requests are handled.

A new service page, a different booking system or a larger redesign can need a separate scope. We discuss that before starting additional paid work. There is no promise of unlimited edits or round-the-clock support.

Care is optional after your website build.

The website itself is a one-time project. Ongoing care is a separate choice for businesses that want help after launch.

Before you choose it, we discuss the hosting arrangement, included work, access, response expectations and what happens if your needs change. No subscription price or support commitment is assumed before we agree on it.

Maintenance and marketing are different.

Keeping a website current is valuable, but it is not the same as an ongoing SEO campaign. New research, substantial content creation and broader marketing work need their own scope.

If someone else built your current website, send its address and tell me what help you need. I need to understand its platform and access arrangements before confirming whether I can take it on.

No cost. No commitment.
