Design study / Concept project

Stillfjord. Room to slow down.

An independent design exploration for a fictional boutique hotel. The idea: make the character of the stay felt before asking a guest to take the next step.

Coastal cabins beside still water, used as the visual setting for the fictional Stillfjord concept.
Concept imagery. Stillfjord is a fictional business, not a WebLevitation client.

The imagined brief.

The concept explores a quiet, nature-led hospitality brand. Its prospective guest needs to understand the atmosphere of the place, what makes the stay distinctive, and where to look next.

The homepage preview uses a generous coastal photograph and a restrained amount of text. The aim is to introduce the experience without burying navigation in decoration.

The design decisions.

A serif headline gives the concept a different voice from WebLevitation’s own sans-serif identity. Space around the headline allows the setting to do some of the storytelling.

The preview separates the stay, the story and the next action. Those are starting points for a guest journey, rather than a claim that an attractive hero alone can secure a booking.

What a real hotel project would need.

The next stage would require verified room details, facilities, photography rights, location information, policies and the chosen booking provider. Availability and pricing must come from a real operational system.

On mobile, the key information and booking route would need to remain easy to reach. A full project would test the journey from discovering the property to entering the actual booking service.

What this study demonstrates.

This is a visual concept presented in the portfolio, not a launched hotel website. It demonstrates design direction and a proposed information hierarchy. It has no live availability, payment or booking integration.

There are no client testimonials, booking figures or performance claims attached to this work. You can use it as a starting point for discussing the kind of experience you want for your own business.
